Hello. I’m Alice.
Physical Therapist | Tibetan Tones® Practitioner
I've always believed that the body carries an incredible wisdom.
As a physical therapist for more than 17 years, I've had the privilege of walking alongside people through pain, recovery, uncertainty, and healing. Again and again, I've witnessed something remarkable: when people feel safe, deeply seen, and truly listened to, the body often begins to move toward healing in ways we can't always explain.
Over the years, my own journey has shaped me just as much as my professional training. The death of a dear patient and friend who lived with chronic pain, followed by caring for my mother during her cancer journey, changed me. Those experiences invited me to look beyond muscles and joints and ask deeper questions about the ways our bodies carry grief, fear, trauma, love, and hope.
That curiosity led me into advanced training in mind-body physical therapy, visceral and lymphatic therapies, oncology rehabilitation, chronic pain science, and nervous system regulation. Each step expanded my understanding of healing—but I still felt there was another piece waiting to be discovered.
In 2023, I found it. Or perhaps, it found me. I felt an unexpected pull toward sound as medicine. When I learned about the Sonic Wellness Institute's mentorship program for physical therapists using Tibetan Tones® therapy-grade singing bowls, I followed that quiet inner knowing and applied. Being accepted into the program has been one of the greatest gifts of my professional life. From the first time I experienced the bowls, I recognized something I had been searching for. The resonance didn't just create sound. It created stillness. It invited the nervous system to soften, the breath to deepen, and something inside to simply remember.
Today, my work brings together the science of physical therapy with the subtle art of listening. Sometimes healing comes through skilled hands. Sometimes through movement. Sometimes through silence. Sometimes through vibration or the voice. Often, it's the combination that allows the body to release what it has been holding and reconnect with its own natural intelligence.
My intention isn't to fix you. I believe your body already carries profound wisdom. Together, we simply create the conditions for healing, allowing you to reconnect with the harmony that has always been within you.
I continue to study meditation, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Medical Qigong because I believe learning is a lifelong practice. Every new perspective deepens my ability to support others with compassion, curiosity, and presence.
People often tell me they leave our sessions feeling lighter, calmer, more grounded, and more connected to themselves. They describe sleeping more deeply, breathing more freely, and discovering a sense of peace they didn't realize they had been missing.
To me, these experiences are gentle reminders that healing isn't about becoming someone new. It's about remembering who we've always been.
This work is more than my profession. It's my devotion.
A practice of listening.
A remembering.
It is an honor to hold space for your journey—to invite you into stillness, to help you reconnect with the wisdom that already lives within you, and to welcome you home...to your body, your breath, your heart, and the quiet place where healing begins
